It is THE place to Care and be cared for
MVA @ Home fellowships are the best place for care to take place because of the relationships that are forming and growing within the fellowship. There are times to talk and pray, lifting concerns heavenward, as well as opportunities to meet physical needs (getting a ride to the doctor, help moving, offering meals when families are sick). MVA @ Home fellowships are cities of refuge where safety reigns and our membership is adequately cared for.
It is THE Place to Share
MVA @ Home fellowships are built around sharing with one another. Lives are shared: victories and defeats, struggles, joys and pains. Spiritual lives are shared: God’s teachings and leadings, His challenges and encouragements. Food and beverages are also shared: a common meal or dessert. And finally God’s word is shared through the careful preparation and presentation of the facilitator.
It is THE Place to Grow
An MVA @ Home fellowship is a springboard for spiritual growth in our daily lives because its accountability, discipleship, mentors, godly friends, Bible discussion and prayer, all things that are needed in our daily lives for the purpose of growing. It is also a safe place to Grow in our Spiritual Giftedness. We encourage members to learn and grow in the area of their gifting, no matter what it is.
It is THE Place to Worship
Focusing on God with close friends is a deeply meaningful exercise. There is a freedom that comes from worshiping with close friends, who know our struggles, and victories. There is time to give God the glory through testimonies, worship and praise, prayers of thanks. In the context of an MVA @ Home fellowship hearts and lives can be submitted to God for His purpose.
